My name is Andres Nunez and I am excited to be the school counselor for Horace Mann Elementary School!

 

A little bit about myself, I taught Spanish in the classroom for ten years, six of those right here in the North Bergen School District. I was born in Quito, Ecuador but raised most of my life in the U.S., specifically here in New Jersey. I grew up in North Bergen, graduating from both Franklin School and North Bergen High School. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Education and my Master's degree in School Counseling from Saint Peter's University. Along with working in the classroom, you can also find me on the basketball court coaching some of our schools' students on the Horace Mann Cougars Basketball team.

 

My primary goal as your child's school counselor is to support their academic, social, and emotional growth. I look forward to getting to know your child and being a resource for your family throughout their elementary school years.
