Newspaper Club
The Newspaper Club is for Horace Mann students in grades 6-8. Students write and publish “The Cougar Journal” which is placed on the school website. The newspaper is filled with news articles about Horace Mann School, activities, and interests. Student reporters get to brainstorm topics, interview community members, research, take photographs, and write informational pieces. Students also have the opportunity to express their creativity through the creation of comic strips, artwork, jokes, and puzzles.
