The Elementary School Counseling Program

Our School Counseling Program reaches every student, regardless of affiliation, and strives to focus on the knowledge and attitude needed for successful academic achievement and personal/social growth. A school counselor serves as an advocate for all the students in their respective schools.
 
At Horace Mann Elementary School we aspire to see our students graduate from elementary school with a strong sense of self, a love of learning, and the skills needed to navigate the path ahead with confidence. We envision them as future leaders who contribute positively to their community and make a meaningful impact on the world. Through our commitment to empowerment and guidance, we aim to illuminate the path to success for every child, ensuring that their futures are as bright as they can imagine!

  • Building Anti-Bullying Specialist
  • Testing Coordinator for District & State Assessments
  • Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS)
  • 504 Coordinator
 
School Counselors play a vital role in supporting the development of students, helping them navigate academic, personal, and social challenges while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
