Dear Parents / Guardians,

Welcome to Horace Mann Elementary School! My name is Dr. Ramirez and I am a special education teacher for the elementary grades kindergarten through eight grade. I will be providing special education instruction for students in the first-grade resource program for the school year 2019-2020. This school year will be filled with wonderful learning opportunities for all students in the school, I am very excited to be part of this wonderful learning experience!

I am looking forward to a very exciting and productive year. I along with the rest of the faculty will strive to make each day fun and enriching while the students acquire new skills that will enhance their learning. However, I need your help in making his year a truly successful one! I believe that when parents and teachers work as a team the students’ success increases academically and emotionally.
You are the most important person in your child's life. I know if we work together and communicate, your child will have a very successful year. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have during the year.
I can be reached at (201) 295-2880, or you can send me an email at lramirez@northbergen.k12.nj.us.
