Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to the start of an exciting new school year! Sixth grade is a major milestone—it brings more independence, new challenges, and incredible opportunities to grow as thinkers, creators, and leaders. Whether you are returning to our school family or joining us for the first time, I am thrilled to welcome you to our classroom community.

This year, our main goal is to build a supportive environment where every student feels confident taking on new academic challenges and discovering their unique passions. We will be diving into hands-on projects, collaborative problem-solving, and deep discussions that bring our learning to life.

What to Expect in 6th Grade

• Increased Independence: Students will take more ownership of their daily schedules, assignments, and organization.

• Teamwork & Collaboration: We will work together daily, building strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong Partnership: Open communication between home and school is key to a successful year.
