Bio / Teaching Philosophy
Becoming a Special Education teacher was a conscious decision. December 2011 I received a BASS degree with Concentration in Education and May 2016, a MAT - Special Education (Masters degree in Special Education).
Teaching is an honorable profession. As a rule, honor, integrity, and respect are the pillars of education. Virtues inside and outside of school are essential for a well-adjusted individual. Humanism is not only an element that should be utilized in schools by faculty and staff; but should be essential in a civilized society. Being in the military played a big part, as I continued my education using the education benefits program.
