Welcome to FIRST grade!  My name is Mrs. Belen and I am going to be your child’s first grade teacher this year!  I am so excited that your child is going to be in my class!

     First grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning.  For the 2023-2024 school year we will continue full in-person learning.  I am looking forward to a very challenging, exciting and productive year. These past few years have been very challenging.  I know that we will prevail with drive and determination. 

     I will strive to make each day fun and enriching while the students acquire new skills that will enhance their learning. However, I need your help in making this year a truly successful year!  I believe that you and I are a team working together to help your child develop emotionally and academically.  You are the most important person in your child’s life and you are also a teacher in your child’s life.  I know if we work together and communicate, your child will have a very successful year!
