Gina Vicente

Hello! My name is Gina Vicente and I am thrilled to be a part of the Horace Mann Child Study Team!

I will be serving as the Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant for students at Horace Mann School. As the LDT-C, my responsibilities include diagnosis and remediation of learning disabilities, consultation with staff, and case management of classified students.

I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey. While there, I also received my Elementary Education Certification and Middle School Mathematics Certification. After teaching for 7 years, I received my Masters Degree from William Paterson University in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities, along with my Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Certification.

 I am thrilled to be a part of the fabulous staff at North Bergen Schools. It is my belief that two of the most important aspects for success in school are communication and home support. I am looking forward to creating positive working relationships with both students and parents.
