I joined the North Bergen school district in February of 2005. Since then, my teaching career spans from eighth grade to first grade. I am very excited to be part of the Reading Intervention team at Horace Mann. In May 2020, I received my Orton Gillingham teacher certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University. This certificate allows me to use multisensory instruction to help struggling students learn how to read. In addition to the Orton Gillingham certification, I also hold two Master's Degrees; one in health education and the other in education. I'm a single mom of two teenage boys and a little pooch named Coco. I enjoy playing the piano, going for long walks and watching action movies. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
