Victoria Duarte, LSW

Greetings!

My name is Victoria Duarte and I am the School Social Worker on the Child Study Team at Horace Mann School. As a School Social Worker, one of my daily duties includes collaborating with students, parents, and teachers to formulate methods to meet each classified student’s educational, social, and emotional needs.

Prior to beginning my work in schools, I also worked in psychiatric emergency and outpatient mental health treatment settings. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University.  I am also currently a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey.

My motto is, “TEAM work makes the DREAM work!” and I am eager to continue working collectively with students, their families, teachers, and administrators to cultivate a positive and successful learning environment.
