Hello! My name is Deborah Roth. I have been an educator for over 20 years, and most of that time has been spent working with kindergartners. I began my career here at Horace Mann as a Kindergarten Title I teacher, later taught at Lincoln Annex as both a Kindergarten Title I and classroom teacher, and now I am thrilled to be back at Horace Mann where my journey first began.

Teaching kindergarten is truly my passion. I love helping young learners build a strong foundation, grow in confidence, and discover the excitement of learning. My classroom is a place where every child is encouraged to explore, be curious, and feel proud of who they are.

Outside of school, I enjoy exercising and gardening. Both help me recharge and bring balance, and I love sharing my enthusiasm for learning and growth—whether it’s in the classroom, the gym, or the garden!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, and new adventures together!
