Welcome!
My name is Natalie Careccia, and I am the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) on the Horace Mann Child Study Team. My goal is to work collaboratively with the other members of the Child Study Team, and support educators, students, and families to achieve educational success.
There is a strong connection between family involvement in schools and childrens' academic achievement. I highly encourage families to get involved in the school community. Be sure to join us at school events and activities!
-About me-
I graduated from William Paterson University in 2010 with a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology, with a Dual Teaching Certification (Teacher of Students with Disabilities and Elementary Education K-6). I earned my MA in Special Education in 2022 and hold a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) Certification. Before joining the Horace Mann Child Study Team, I was a special education teacher at John F. Kennedy School. I taught self-contained classes for 12 years.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss any questions or concerns you may have in reference to your child’s educational needs.
