7th/8th Grade ELA

Hello Students and Families!  My name is Jocelyn White and I will be the 7th and 8th grade ELA teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School.  This year marks my 18th year in the North Bergen school district.  Throughout my career I have taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, Literacy Coach, and 8th grade. 

 

Teaching has been a lifelong passion and I am looking forward to creating a learning environment full of respect, diversity and collaboration.  My goal has been and always will be to develop lifelong learners who strive to work to their fullest potential.  I am looking forward to an amazing and memorable year ahead!
