Ms. Galan's Music World!

Hello there, I'm Ms. Galan! I am a general music teacher, in the classroom, and direct the fourth to eighth grade chorus. I, also, direct other shows and performances such as the first and second grade concerts, the talent show, fashion show, play and more. I have created Horace Mann's Cougar Talk show to help highlight the many talented students at our school 🎭.

In the classroom we learn musical notation, vocal technique, rhythmic dictation, solfege, a variety of songs, and some musical instruments. We also study world music and musical artists, among other things.

Chorus rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
