Ms. Araya's Introduction (Spanish Class).

Dear Parents/Guardians 

Bienvenidos a la clase de Español.

Hello. My name is Ms. Araya and I am very excited to be the Spanish teacher at Horace Mann elementary school this school year 2021-2022.  I was born in Chile and I have lived in the U.S. for many years. I have a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood and a World Language certification by the State of New  Jersey. My goal is to enrich my students’ cultural knowledge of Spanish speaking countries and help them to enhance the Spanish language. 

Your child will have Spanish classes once a week for a 40 minutes period in which he/she will complete a project at the end of each marking period. In addition, the students’ grades will consist of class participation, class work and the above mentioned project. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom and students are responsible to complete the work given.
